If you’ve been following my Instagram while I’ve been in Singapore, then you may have noticed a distinct takeover when it comes to a certain colour in my holiday wardrobe; white of course. But whether abroad or in the Perth, I keep going back to the classic neutral shade. You could say that for me, white is the colour I feel most comfortable in, like so many people feel about black. White however is notoriously hard to wear, so I thought I’d share a few tips on how to look fabulous in a white outfit of the day.

This has become my go to outfit as soon as i got it, as you can tell I love the detailing on the dress with the cold shoulder cut out sleeves, and the cinched in waste gives it a beautiful fit. This dress is even so special as its so affordable at $50 from Asos from the brand Boohoo .

If it “Fits”

I can’t emphasise enough on how important it is to only buy outfits that fit you correctly. Everyone will have their own perfect fit according to their body type. I love wearing garments that fit my top half and flow at the bottom. It makes me feel confident it my outfit. Buying garments from high street can mean sometimes you will have to get them altered, but when you get them to fit perfectly. They make sure a big difference. It so worth it spending that extra $$

Is white boring?

Most people think white is boring, because it can make your outfit look flat. The best advice I can give you when trying a white outfit this summer is to play with different textures and colours throughout your outfit, specially with your accessories and bags. I really feel that by doing that you can really make the outfit pop. Like the dress I am wearing here has a self pattern in the fabric makes it far from boring.

Adding Something extra to your white outfit.

Adding a metallic touch by wearing a metallic detailed bag and shoes to your white outfit can instantly make it look more “Lux”. For those special occasions and maybe even for that date with the special someone watching the beautiful sunset together.

Don’t hide that awesome tan!

Coming from the Indian back ground I am blessed with a tanned skin all year around, but if you are on the paler side do not worry. A white outfit will have you sorted this summer season. I feel like even with a slightest tan a white outfit can really enhance that inner summer glow for you. Look for garments that show a pop of skin, such as your legs, chest and arms , or perhaps an off the shoulder white top to frame bronzed shoulders.

Beauty Tip: Just adding that bronzer to your collar bones and high points of your face will make all the deference. If you like to be a bronzed goddess you can even use a bronzer on your chin {legs} and shoulder’s on an off the shoulder number.

I love wearing white when I have a tan!! My favourite way to style an all white outfit is to pop on a bright orangey-red lip!

I usually stay away from white clothes because I have 2 boys under 5 and they get everything dirty. This white dress looks stunning on you though!

I have been wearing my white cami and white jeans to death lately! They are so easy to co-ordinate and always look amazing.

I should definitely introduce some white into my wardrobe this summer, I’ve always avoided it before as I thought I was too messy to wear white!!

I don’t mind it getting dirty. I just make sure I wash it after every wear. Specially after having a little one. White is my favourite colour x
