I have been absolutely obsessed with this Bobbi Brown new launch lipstick called the Crushed lip color. The idea behind this product is that it looks like a lipstick but meets the feeling of a lip balm, to leave you with the most comfotable and wearable lip yet. It is loaded with some really great ingredients that nourish your lips with crushed pignuts for that high intensity color payoff. It is so easy to apply and perfect for the people on the go.
Rich in Vitamin E, C and beewax, this formula just glides on for an easy application. The perfect balance between a balm and the lipstick with a satin matte finish that will leave your lips hydrated and kissably soft.
It claims for an all day wear but I bought it as an everyday nourishing and easy wear lipstick. I would not necessarily say it lasts all day, specially after you eat or drink anything. The formula of these lipstick is amazing on its own for me worry about the longitivtiy of the lipsticks is not a deal breaker. I love all the benefits my lips are getting while looking on point with the lip loving ingredients in this product. I love how buildable the lipstick is, one swipe will give a very natural and effortless look. As for the medium skin tones you can layer up the product to get more intense colour payoff. As you can see in the video above.
Its definitely for people who are into high end brand with benefits of skincare in the product. Liquid lipsticks and not my thing I don’t like the dry and flaky they make your lips. I can use cetain formulas of few brands that sit comfortably on my lips without feeling dehydrated. I love a good product thats easy to wear and looks after my skin at the same time. So if your looking for a product that looks effortless and feels like heaven for your lips this is it. There are twenty shades to pick from a little something for every one and every skin tone.
Swatches left to right: Bare, Lilac & Babe
